BREAKING: STIPE MIOCIC OUT OF UFC FIGHT NIGHT 76 CO-MAIN EVENT AGAINST BEN ROTHWELL

MMAOddsBreaker.com can now officially confirm UFC Heavyweight Stipe Miocic was forced out of his forthcoming UFC Fight Night 76 bout against Ben Rothwell because of an unspecified training injury. Both top 10 fighters were scheduled to throw down in the co-main event of following Saturday’s (October 24, 2015) event in Dublin, Ireland, which is headlined by the lightweight battle between Joseph Duffy and Dustin Poirier and will be streamed live on UFC Fight Pass. Miocic (#3 rated HW) was coming off the most remarkable performance of his career, a fifth round TKO stoppage of former title challenger Mark Hunt where he place a UFC heavyweight record for the majority of strikes landed at one struggle. He’s won four of his last five fights with his only loss being a competitive decision against former winner Junior dos Santos. Rothwell (#7 ranked HW) is currently riding a three-fight win streak which comprised surprising first round angry stoppage successes over the Matt Mitrione and Alistair Overeem. There’s been no word as to whether or not UFC matchmakers will have the ability to get a last minute replacement for Miocic or when Rothwell is going to be forced off the fight card.
