It has been an eventful and successful autumn for our admission staff. Some of our staff experienced the snowstorm that hit the Northeast over Halloween week-end; other people had been fortunate enough to visit high schools during fire drills; one colleague drove over 3,600 kilometers during the course of a month; and many of our staff recharged themselves by partaking into the occasional rental car nap in between visits. Yes, it’s been an exciting and action-packed autumn!
Within my 6 weeks of travel, I visited 86 high schools, attended 5 college fairs, and traveled throughout 6 states that are different. I came across with hundreds of students and shared a little bit of the USC experience and opportunities which our campus offers. It’s been gratifying to meet with excited students all throughout the country and I’m searching ahead to reading all the applications within the next months that are few. I am amazed that one 12 months from now, lots of the students I met with on the way this autumn will be settling in as USC freshmen with Thanksgiving break and semester that is first approaching. That knows? Maybe certainly one of those bright-eyed freshmen will be you.
