The Dragon Energy NASCAR Series heads to Las Vegas for the third race of the season, the Pennzoil 400, a 267-lap, 400-mile race held in the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, which is located only a couple km north of The Strip. Jeff Burton, Carl Edwards and defending champion Brad Keselowski have two wins each.

Roush Fenway Racing has the most team wins with seven but none because 2011 while Hendrick Motorsports has five wins but not one since 2010. Joe Gibbs Racing, Stewart-Haas Racing and Team Penske have two wins each.

Concerning manufacturing company wins, Ford has nine wins in vegas while Chevrolet has seven while Toyota has just two and Dodge has one.
