The Safeway assembles its best area in years as we return for its 6th season on the trot to the Silverado CC. It’s a tough course to figure out what characteristics matter but I enjoy a good deal of accuracy from tee to green. Scrambling is another stat value a glimpse as the contours around the greens imply there will be lots of tasks throughout the week to get greenside down and up. As lots find these surfaces difficult poa Annua greens is still another issue.
Thomas and Cantlay are the two superpowers on top of the market. Both have off because the end and in what form they arrive here it remains to be observed. Thomas had the form that is greater although they stopped with a triumph but had been a colour. They’ve both played this course so it is in their ability as they’ve been accustomed to over the last few months to obtain a success in a much field. There are with form on this course though and given that the layoff that the two prices do not interest me a lot.
Adam Scott has a good listing on Poa Annua greens and I believe he isthe probably winner out of the top two although I’m not a huge fan of the cost. The Australian was striping it to green here weekly and that should work as a significant edge. So I expect him to get lots of opportunities, he is long enough into the bargain. The switch into Poa Annua greens must be a positive. He has had a month away but he is used t longer lay offs as he takes plenty of time. 5-9-5 in three playoff events has been an end to a constant season which which seen him notch two top tens from the Majors, and a top 20. It’s one of those instances that I’ll back someone regardless of the cost.

It looks overpriced this week and has been a spell last couple of weeks for Bud Cauley. Even the Floridian has enjoyed some success of late with high 25 finishes coming in Wyndham, the John Deere and many recently . He has not done well on the greens down the years but despite that made the cut on all three appearances and has managed to finish 7th here two decades back. He isn’t the most dependable and still get off the mark on tour but some success has been attained by forms such as his here down the years. Ranks 15th in the area in Total Strokes gained at 70/1 and worth a punt at Silverado.

Harold Varner has jeopardized a triumph this year especially in the Northern Trust and that I expect to land one of these’less significant’ events at any point over the following year or so. Varner won the Australian PGA that a couple of years back but has failed to match people heroics on the PGA tour. He arrives with assurance although Just one top is a pity but at the Grenbrier final time by means of the top 20. He gains shots in most sections here within the previous four years that has included two top 20 finishes and four from four. A runner this week and worth a soda at 70s. Sungjae Im really is a mighty tempting proposition this week also but Scott is favoured by me . Others Chesson Hadley, Mark Hubbard and Brandt Snedeker were close to creating my staking plan.
